Racing Metro have confirmed that Pierre Berbizier will still be in charge of the Parisian side next season.

Berbizier has endured a torrid season at the Top 14 Orange side with high profile No.8 Sebastien Chabal leaving mid-term and his assistant Simon Mannix also sacked.

But club president Jacky Lorenzetti has confirmed that Berbizier will still be there next term saying: "Without hesitation I say yes. Pierre Berbizier will be sports director, without doubt with enlarged responsibilities, and I for sure will also be president."

One man who may not be at Metro next season is veteran lock Lionel Nallet. Speaking about Nallet's future, Lorenzetti said: "It is a complicated story which was simple to start with as Lionel had given us his word and afterwards he went back on his decision. We plan to see him next week to discuss the matter."

Meanwhile Welsh flyer Alex Cuthbert has reportedly put pen to paper on a three-year deal to join Metro.
