Wales flanker Justin Tipuric has reportedly spurned the advances of Toulouse to leave it as a two-horse race for his services.

Tipuric's contract is up at the end of the season and The Rugby Paper claims Leicester are keen to sign him up while his current region, the Ospreys, also want to retain his services.

With Yannick Nyanga set to leave Toulouse for Racing Metro at the end of the season, the Top 14 giants eyed Tipuric as a ready-made replacement. But the newspaper claims Tipuric turned down Toulouse.

The Ospreys are still hopeful of keeping the openside, with their CEO Andrew Hore telling the newspaper: "Our discussions are going really positively. We've done all we can in the current marker and all we can to create an environment where Justin wants to stay.

"There are four or five players we want to build our squad around and he is one of them."
