Leicester Tigers have made three changes for Friday night's Heineken Cup opener against Ulster at Ravenhiill and have handed Miles Benjamin his debut.

Benjamin joined the Tigers ahead of the 2012-13 season but injury prevented him from running out for his new side. But after recovering from his latest setback, he has been called into the team alongside Dan Bowden and Geoff Parling.

Ulster have named Ruan Pienaar on the bench while Tommy Bowe starts on the wing. Jared Payne switches to fullback in place of Craig Gilroy, who has failed to recover from the ankle injury that he sustained against Ospreys, with Darren Cave coming in at outside-centre. In the only change up front, Roger Wilson starts at blindside, with Robbie Diack moving to the bench.

Saracens travel to Connacht and Will Fraser retains his place at openside flanker, with George Kruis continuing in the second-row. In the backs Owen Farrell returns at fly-half, with Alex Goode reverting to his more accustomed fullback role. Chris Wyles and Joel Tomkins continue to link-up in the centres, while David Strettle returns to the left wing.
