Castaignede starts at full-back

Frenchman Thomas Castaignede will make his Premiership debut when Saracens tackle Gloucester at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

Castaignede, one of the highest profile players in world rugby, starts his Saracens career as a full-back.

Australian Duncan McRae also makes the starting line-up, forging a half-back combination with England international and new Saracens skipper Kyran Bracken.

England wing Dan Luger has recovered from the chest injury that signalled a premature end to his summer tour of South Africa after scoring a try in the first Test defeat in Pretoria.

Luger, who has yet to start a match for Saracens despite joining them from Harlequins more than a year ago, has only recently been able to take full contact in training.

He had been chasing the clock to make Saracens' opening match, but is able to start in the number 14 jersey.

Saracens' England lock Danny Grewcock is ruled out of the game through suspension, having to serve a one-match ban after collecting three yellow cards last season.
