The 2014 running of the Grand National takes place on Saturday April 5 and is guaranteed to have a first-time winner of the famous race.
None of the horses entered have previously triumphed in Aintree's great steeplechase with 2013 winner Auroras Encore retired from racing in December.
Much fancied will be Teaforthree who mastered the daunting fences of Becher's Brook, The Chair and Foinavon to finish third last year. Long Run is also no stranger to victory in marquee races, winning the Gold Cup in 2011 and twice winning the King George at Kempton. Sunnyhillboy was narrowly edged out in 2012 by Neptune Collonges and returns for another shot in the greatest steeplechase in the world.
The National meeting at Aintree begins on Thursday April 3 with Grand Opening Day, featuring the Foxhunter Chase - the Grand National for amateur riders only. Ladies Day comes on Friday April 4 before the big one, the Crabbies Grand National, on April 5.
