Fallon fined for misleading official

Kieren Fallon has been fined £3000 for deliberately misleading an official.
The BHA looked into the circumstances surrounding Fallon's late arrival at the course to ride Fred Willetts and Forte Dei Marmi.
The six-times champion jockey was found guilty of deliberately misleading a BHA employee, namely William Nunneley who was head of stewarding at Chester on the day.
He was handed a further £140 for not informing the clerk of the course, with an explanation, as soon as possible after he became aware he would be unable to ride the two horses in those races.
The BHA will publish the full reasons for their decisions in due course.
