McCoy positive of Cheltenham return

AP McCoy is hopeful of being back in the saddle in time for Cheltenham's Trials Day at the end of January.
The 16-time champion jockey suffered broken ribs in a horrible fall at Taunton on December 30.
McCoy has admitted to feeling sore and spending a week in bed, which is some statement given the injuries he has suffered down the years, and will not rush his return to the saddle for fear of suffering a setback.
"I was pretty sore for a week - I spent a week in bed - but I've improved a lot these last few days. I'm going to see a specialist on Thursday, but I'm improving," he told At The Races.
"There's so much good racing in the spring, so I just want to make sure I'm 100%. I don't want to rush back, but I'm definitely improving.
"I'd be hoping I'd be back for the good meeting at Cheltenham. I'm certain I'll be back for then, probably before."
