Double comeback win for Dettori

Frankie Dettori completed a double win on his comeback after three and a half months out with injury.

Dettori rode Eco Warrior to victory in the coral.co.uk Median Auction Maiden Stakes. He then won on Gone With The Wind in the 32Red.com Maiden Stakes.

He has been sidelined with an ankle injury sustained in a fall at Nottingham on October 2. After his first win, Dettori joked that "everything burns - my lungs, my arms, legs", although he added that his right ankle felt "great".

A ban for using cocaine saw Dettori miss the opening five months of last year.

He said: "I was away for New Year but I told someone in my house to throw the diary [for 2013] in the bin. I don't want to remember any of it."
