Fehily suffers suspected broken wrist

Noel Fehily has reportedly suffered a broken wrist, casting doubt on his ability to partner a host of big-name rides for Paul Nicholls in the coming weeks.
The jockey is due to ride World Hurdle winner Big Buck's in the Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury on Saturday, but that is now unlikely as it is being claimed he suffered the injury when Rivaliste fell in the sportingbet.com Handicap Chase.
Nicholls has already made contingency plans, with Tony McCoy pencilled in to partner Big Buck's and Neptune Collonges in the Hennessy Gold Cup.
"Noel's gone off to hospital - we don't know how bad it is but I'm gutted for him," said Nicholls. "AP is riding Big Buck's and Neptune on Saturday."
More of a worry for Nicholls is that he may now have to seek out a fresh partner for Kauto Star when the 10-year-old bids to win a record fifth consecutive King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day and Master Minded in the Tingle Creek next weekend.
It was a disappointing day for the Nicholls camp, as Celestial Halo was a well-beaten third on his second start over fences after making a shocking blunder at the third last fence.
