Hamilton not comfortable despite quick time
Lewis Hamilton was not comfortable with his car following Friday practice at the Hungarian Grand Prix and says he has work to do overnight ahead of Saturday's qualifying.
Hamilton was fastest in second practice by over 0.2s but complained of a lack of grip after the session and said he was not happy with the balance of his car.
"We have some work to do overnight to ensure we get the best setup for the weekend as we're not fully comfortable with the car just yet, but our race pace looked okay," he said. "We'll have to look through the data to really know where we stand.
"It's going to be important to get a good grid position tomorrow as it will be difficult to follow cars on this track and it's always tough to overtake here."
Hamilton also complained about the medium and soft compound tyres brought this weekend by Pirelli.
"The tyres don't feel very good here. There was very, very poor grip out there today. I don't know if that's the tyres or the track, but it was pretty bad. You're driving so slow to look after the tyres it feels like you have to slow down too much now to the point that it's a bit boring."
