Richard Sharp was a fly-half who played 14 times for England between 1960 and 1967 and also toured once with the British Lions in 1962.
His finest hour came in 1963, the year Britain was snowbound for several months. The Five Nations started with a dramatic win at Cardiff (the last for almost three decades) and continued with a drab 0-0 draw against Ireland.
France were seen off at Twickenham, and the season concluded in a remarkable match, again at Twickenham, where England came from behind to win, thanks to Sharp's sensational 40-yard try.
