Munster legend Anthony Foley will succeed Australian Laurie Fisher as the province's forwards coach at the end of the season.

Foley, capped 62 times by Ireland and 201 times by Munster, will step up to his new role after serving as assistant coach and technical advisor to the team since his retirement at the end of the 2007-08 campaign.

In addition to his work with the first team he has coached Munster's side in the British & Irish Cup and the Irish Wolfhounds, where he was in charge of the pack.

"Laurie's experience has been hugely beneficial to Munster's squad and management," Munster chief executive Garrett Fitzgerald said. "It's now time for Anthony to take on this responsibility and to impart his experience and great knowledge of the game to the Munster players."

Meanwhile, Glasgow Warriors have completed the signing of winger Tommy Seymour on a two-year deal. The 22-year-old, who was born in the USA but is eligible for Scotland thanks to his Glaswegian mother, has joined the Warriors from Ulster.
