Ireland's Jamie Heaslip is reportedly in discussions with Toulon as he weighs up his next move.

Heaslip's contract with Leinster is up at the end of the season and alongside Sean O'Brien, the back-row duo have both been linked with moves to the Top 14.

According to reports in the Irish Times, Heaslip's contract talks with the Irish Rugby Football Union have stalled and he has been in France talking to both Toulon and Montpellier - the latter have lost giant back-rower Mamuka Gorgodze to Toulon ahead of next season.

If Heaslip does agree a move to France, he would follow in the footsteps of fellow Ireland international Jonathan Sexton who is currently running out for Racing Metro. Ireland have a number of players out of contract come the end of the season with Paul O'Connell and Keith Earls also yet to reveal where their respective futures lie.
