Former Munster second-row Mick O'Driscoll has re-joined the province as a technical advisor and he will look after their A squad.

O'Driscoll made 207 appearances for Munster and called time on his career at the end of the 2011-12 season. But after spending time away from the game in business, he will now link-up under incoming head coach Anthony Foley next term.

"I am really looking forward to working with Anthony, Niall and the team again," O'Driscoll said. "I was immersed in the Munster way for over a decade, playing at the top level in Ireland and France, and I believe I can call on that wealth of experience in this new role."
