Connacht will be without star centre Robbie Henshaw for six weeks.

The Ireland back suffered a metacarpal fracture to his hand against Munster on Saturday and faces a six-week spell on the sidelines pending whether he requires surgery or not on the injury.

In other injury news from Connacht, who are fresh from their memorable win at Thomond Park on Saturday, they will be without loose-head Denis Buckly for three weeks and Eoghan Masterson for three weeks. Openside Nepia Fox-Matamua faces six months out with a ruptured ACL.

But in better injury news, they expect Rodney Ah You, Quinn Roux, Eoin McKeon, Ben Marshall, and Dave McSharry all to be fit for Friday night's game against the Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park.
