Simon Zebo has spurned offers from overseas to sign a new two-year deal with Munster and the Irish Rugby Football Union that ties him down until 2018.

Zebo follows in the footsteps of Conor Murray and Keith Earls in re-signing with Munster and he will look to add to the 95 appearances he has made for the province.

The winger was linked with a move overseas but he has opted to continue his career at Munster as he looks to add to his 21 Ireland caps.

"It's great to have even more good news on the contract front today," Munster boss Anthony Foley said. "Simon's record speaks for itself and keeping a player with his experience and versatility is key to our plans going forward so we are delighted that he has committed his future to Munster."
