Henderson surgery shock
July 23, 2001

Munster and Wasps are on collision course over the injury to Rob Henderson that could see him miss the Six Nations decider with England and the start of Munster's Heineken Cup campaign.

The Irish centre had knee surgery on Friday on an injury that is has been claimed was caused while he was at Wasps and then aggravated while on the Lions tour, something the Zurich Premiership club has totally refuted.

Henderson went on to star in all three Lions Tests in Australia but following last week's surgery he could be out of action for up to six months, something Munster are, unsurprisingly, not too happy about.
