Profile

Michele Sepe is a pacy winger who has yet to truly live up to his billing as one of the most exciting young talents in Italian rugby. He started out with Lazio but it was at Capitolina where he made his name and he was handed his first start for the Azzurri as a 19-year-old as a replacement in the 2006 summer Test against Japan.

He made his first start the following weekend against Fiji but it would be four years before he featured again for the national side. Consequently, he remains an outsider for a berth in the Italy squad for the 2011 World Cup but in May he was called up for the pre-tournament training camp in Cesena on the back of some strong performances for new side Treviso.
