Treviso have parted ways with head coach Umberto Casellato and have turned to Marius Goosen to take charge of the team as they look to halt their dreadful run of results.

Treviso lost both of their back-to-back Italian derbies against Zebre over the festive period and are without a win all season in the Guinness PRO12. They have fared little better in the Champions Cup with no wins from four.

It seems the defeats to Zebre proved to be the final straw with Casellato dismissed. A statement from the club thanked Casellato for his work since taking on the role in July 2014 and went on to wish him well for his "future activities".

They have now opted for Goosen, their former fullback, who played for the club from 2006 to 2010.
