England coach Mike Catt wants the team to emulate the All Blacks and develop a ruthless streak to their game.

Catt and the rest of the England staff took in New Zealand's 32-16 win over South Africa in Soweto back on October 6 and they were treated to an All Blacks display which saw them down the Boks four tries to one. The Kiwis were forced to soak up plenty of South African pressure but when they got on the front-foot and got into Springbok territory, they put their southern hemisphere counterparts to the sword.

And Catt, who was speaking at the unveiling of the England squad for the autumn Tests, wants the team to develop a similar outlook to the All Blacks.

"You look at New Zealand and the way they get one opportunity and score it," Catt said. "New Zealand are very good and accurate at what they do. They are on the front foot a lot of the time and they can bring the big guys into the game. Everybody is going to want to get to that situation. It is how we get there and how long it takes us to get there.

"I am not saying it's not there (in the English players) but we have got to get to that, having that belief we can do it. It is about seeing the opportunities and understanding it. That is my role. From an attacking point of view, I want to see speed of the ball and movement of the ball."

England named two uncapped players in their squad for the autumn internationals on Thursday with Saracens' Mako Vunipola and Leicester Tigers' Tom Youngs getting the nod. And the coaching team also opted to recall Wasps' James Haskell and Quins flyer Ugo Monye, who comes into the squad for the injured Ben Foden.

Monye last played for England back in 2010 and coach Andy Farrell hopes to see the Harlequins winger continue his good run of club form on the Test stage. "Ugo has been in great form," Farrell said. "He is hungry to get back to Test level and prove his worth. You can see that with his performances."
