Greatest Lions moments of the professional era: Part 1
Best Lions try of the professional era?
ESPN Staff
June 7, 2013

To coincide with the British & Irish Lions' tour of Australia, and in association with Dove Men+Care, we are asking you to vote on our short-list of greatest Lions moments of the professional era. We'll announce the results of each poll as we build up to the eagerly-anticipated Test series against the Wallabies.

To kick things off we want you to pick the best try scored by the Lions - is it Brian O'Driscoll's score against Australia in the first Test of the 2001 tour or Jason Robinson's effort in that same thrilling game in Brisbane? Perhaps Matt Dawson's crucial try in the first Test victory over South Africa in 1997 will get your vote or maybe Gareth Thomas' score against New Zealand in the second Test in 2005? Rounding out our selection is Shane Williams' try in the third Test against South Africa in 2009.

Re-live those great moments above, select your favourite using our poll and then let us know your thoughts below.

Coming soon...the greatest tries scored against the British & Irish Lions.
