Springbok management is unlikely to take any action against All Blacks No.8 Ron Cribb for allegedly biting South African halfback Werner Swanepoel.

SA Rugby Football Union chief executive Rian Oberholzer said on Sunday there is absolutely nothing they can do about the matter after the match commissioner failed to cite Cribb. There may also be no video footage to substantiate Swanepoel's claims. Citing commissioner Tim Holland watched the game in Australia.

"I will speak to Werner, and write a strongly worded letter to the New Zealand Rugby Union," Oberholzer said.
