Scotland could be without tight-head Euan Murray for the opening game of the Six Nations as he battles back from an Achilles injury.

Murray last played for Worcester since the autumn internationals and is facing a race against time to be fit for Scotland's second game against Ireland on February 8.

"I don't expect to have Euan back for at least four weeks," Worcester boss Dean Ryan said. "He is still being troubled by his Achilles from his last stint with Scotland. Euan is still in pain so it's not a short-term problem."
