Springboks back-rower Danie Rossouw is set to retire at the end of the season.

Rossouw, who started in the locks for Toulon on Sunday against Munster, had suffered from osteoarthritis earlier in the campaign but returned for the season run in. But it looks like he will call time on his career at the end of this term.

He told La Provence: "I've made my decision and I'll stop. I'm going to play in the remaining matches this season and give it everything I've got."

Toulon have already signed Leigh Halfpenny ahead of next season but it seems their recruitment drive is not yet over. According to Midi Olympique, if Perpignan are relegated then Toulon will move for their fly-half Camille Lopez and second-rower Romain Taofifenua.
