Bristol make four changes for Sarries clash

Bristol Rugby Head Coach Richard Hill has resisted the temptation to make wholesale changes following the 27-0 reverse at Gloucester.

Jason Strange and Mark Regan both return after injury and there are two tactical changes.

Strange, who missed the trip to Kingsholm through injury, returns at fly half in place of David Hill. Hill dropping out of the starting line up means that fellow New Zealander Neil Brew is able to team up with Rob Higgitt again in the centre.

Up front, Mark Regan comes in at hooker having sat on the bench at Kingsholm and Joe El Abd replaces Alfie To'oala at openside flanker to complete the changes.

"Last week wasn't very good at all and we let ourselves down a little bit. The effort was there, we weren't dropping off tackles for example but a few silly errors crept in the sort we weren't making against Stade Francais or Wasps."

"We've talked about it but we won't dwell on it. Occasionally it happens but you just wear yourself down if you try and over analyse it."

"We had a debrief on Monday but are now 100% focussed on Saracens. The atmosphere has been good and everyone is up for this one."

"Saracens have been going well but didn't have their best team out against Newcastle which is a little bizarre considering they had their best home crowd for three years! So, I'm sure they'll be stronger this week with the likes of Visagie, Hill, Jackson and Farrell all back."

"We've sat down at the start of 2008 to reset our aims and objectives and these next four weeks will define our season really. This period will define where we're going in the League and in the Heineken Cup before we have a two week break and then welcome back our injured players."
