Tom Daley admits he cannot wait to be officially named in the Team GB Olympic squad on Monday after he and Peter Waterfield won the Men's 10m Synchro final at the British Gas Diving Championships on Friday.

Daley and Waterfield posted a score of 475.77 to lead the field in Sheffield. They later stated there is more to come as they build toward London 2012.

"To come out of the World Series as overall champions and then come here and set a new personal best is great," Daley said.

"Everyone is very excited for the announcement of the Olympic team on Monday, so everyone's come to the Championships in the best shape they can be."

Elsewhere, Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow lived up to their European champions status by setting a new British record [327.18] in the Women's 10m Synchro - despite having no opposition.

"With the PB everything is going to plan and we're working really hard," Couch said. "I dropped one of my dives, so it wasn't the best we can do - if I'd got that it could have been 330 or more."
