Marussia will unveil the MR02 at the first pre-season test at Jerez on February 5.

The new 2013 car will be launched in the pit lane at 08.15 CET (07.15 GMT) ahead of the first day of testing, with Max Chilton driving the car on the opening day of the test. Chilton's team-mate has yet to be confirmed after Timo Glock left the team by mutual consent early in January, with reports in Brazil claiming Luiz Razia will take the vacant seat.

A press release from Marussia stated that the rest of the team's pre-season testing schedule will be announced on the day of the launch.

The launch will follow Mercedes and Toro Rosso on February 4, with Caterham also opting for a pit lane launch on the same day as Marussia. The announcement confirms Williams as the only team not to have its 2013 car ready for the opening test of the year, with the team having opted to launch its car in time for the second test in Barcelona on February 19.
