Two McLaren staff killed in Woking crash
Two McLaren staff members have been killed after a crash near the Formula One team's headquarters in Woking.
The pair were traveling in a blue Subaru Impreza when it collided with a Ford Transit van on the A320, in Ottershaw near Woking. Both were based with the Automotive division, working for the firm's sports car division at the McLaren Production Centre - next to where the company's F1 cars are built.
Mike Flewitt, chief executive officer of McLaren Automotive, said: "We have been informed that we have sadly lost two hard working and extremely well-liked employees.
"They will be sorely missed by their friends and colleagues and our heartfelt condolences go out to their families."
