Reynolds banned after Fallon clash

British racehorse owner David Reynolds has been banned for three months and fined £10,000 after being found guilty of violent conduct towards jockey Kieren Fallon.
Reynolds confronted Fallon after the 2.25pm at Lingfield on March 20. There was scrimmaging in the race, during which Elna Bright - ridden by Fallon - went lame and The Scorching Wind - part-owned by Reynolds - suffered interference.
Reynolds appeared before the British Horseracing Authority on Monday charged with bringing racing into disrepute and of violent conduct against Fallon, and in a statement released on Monday afternoon, the BHA confirmed Reynolds would be banned from all racing for three months.
The statement read: "Following a hearing of the Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority, registered owner, David Reynolds, has been disqualified for three months and fined £10,000 after he admitted being in breach of violent conduct and acting in a manner prejudicial to the integrity, proper conduct and good reputation of horseracing in Great Britain, following the running of the The Sportingbet Support Heros 'Super 7' Handicap Stakes."
The disqualification prevents Reynolds from owning a horse for the duration of the ban, nor permitted access into racecourses, training grounds or stables and prevented from speaking to trainers and other licensed individuals involved in the sport.
"I deeply regret what happened at Lingfield," said Reynolds in a statement. "I have apologised to Kieren Fallon and everybody involved in the incident and I now wish to put this matter behind me."
