Sixteen-year-old Siobhan-Marie O'Connor secured her place at London 2012 with victory in the 100m breaststroke at the ASA National Championships in Sheffield.

O'Connor, who narrowly missed out on qualification in the 200m individual medley in March, bounced back to swim a personal best time of 1:08.04 to become the youngest member of the Team GB swimming squad.

Rebecca Adlington may have already secured her place, but the double Olympic champion was in dominant form as she romped to victory in the 800m freestyle, storming home in a time of 8:19.03.

Amy Smith joins Fran Halsall on the team for the 50m freestyle with victory in a time of 25.36 seconds, while Stephanie Proud won the 200m backstroke to book her Olympics spot.

Chris Walker-Hebborn will double up in London after winning the 100m backstroke following his win over 200m on Thursday. However, wins for Matthew Johnson (400m individual medlay) and Adam Brown (50m freestyle) were in vain.
