Madrid beat Barcelona in Euroleague
Real Madrid sealed their place in the Euroleague final after beating Barcelona 74-67 at the O2 Arena in London.
In the El Clasico battle, Barcelona held the advantage after the first and third quarters, but it was Madrid who fought back in the second and final quarter to edge out their bitter rivals, and reach the final of the competition for the first time in 18 years.
Marcelinho top-scored in the encounter, but unfortunately for him he was on the losing side for Barcelona, as Madrid's Felipe Reyes notched up 17 points, with Sergio Llull and Sergio Rodriguez recording 13 and 12 points respectively.
Champions Olympiacos reached the final after they defeated CSKA Moscow 69-52 and remain on course to become the first consecutive winners of the event in seven years.
