World Championship runner-up Graeme Dott has decided to part company with manager Pat Mooney following allegations of his involvement in match-fixing.

Mooney and 2009 world champion John Higgins, who Mooney also represents, are alleged to have been prepared to fix frames at high-profile tournaments. Both men firmly deny the allegations, which have led to a full inquiry by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association.

Higgins has been suspended from playing until a resolution to the investigation is reached, while Mooney stood down from his position on the WPBSA board immediately after news of the scandal broke.

Dott, who was beaten 18-13 by Australian Neil Robertson in this year's Crucible final, released a brief statement announcing the decision to split from his manager.

"Further to the press reports last week involving Mr Pat Mooney, I have terminated my representation contract with Pat Mooney and FSTC Management with immediate effect," Dott said. "I will have no further dealings with either of these parties."
