Vitali vows to make short work of Haye

Vitali Klitschko has warned David Haye that he will make short work of him if the often-mooted clash between the pair can be arranged.

Haye has repeatedly stated his desire to face one - or both - of the Klitschko brothers, who hold all bar one of the belts in the heavyweight division.

He was due to take on Wladimir last year, but the Brit withdrew from the fight after citing a back injury. Now, despite beginning negotiations a month ago, the camps have thus far not arranged a unification bout.

That news will come as a bitter blow to Vitali, who is desperate to follow his fight against Albert Sosnowski on May 29 by taking on Haye.

"I promise David Haye that the fight with me would be much shorter than with my brother," he said. "I will knock him out in two, three or a maximum of four rounds. Haye tries to use every excuse why he doesn't want to fight us - but nobody believes him."
