Europe crushed the USA 11-2 to retain the Mosconi Cup in Las Vegas.

The visiting team went into the third day leading 8-2 and won the first three matches to wrap up a margin of victory second only to the USA's 12-1 triumph in 2001.

Niels Feijen, playing alongside Mika Immonen, won the final frame 6-4 over American pair Dennis Hatch and Rodney Morris to complete the victory.

Dutchman Feijen went on to pick up the MVP award.

Previously, Darren Appleton and Ralf Souquet beat Earl Strickland and Hatch 6-3, before Karl Boyes' 6-4 victory over Strickland put Team Europe within a point of the trophy.

Europe have now won six of seven Mosconi Cups since the event was tied in 2006.
