Hoy tipping Wiggins to shine in Le Tour

Sir Chris Hoy is convinced Bradley Wiggins has all the tools required to become the first British winner of the Tour de France.
Wiggins announced himself on the road scene at last year's Tour, claiming a marvellous fourth-place finish after competing strongly on some of major mountain stages. The former Olympic champion now races under the Team Sky banner and Hoy believes the team can help Wiggins make the step forward to a podium place.
"They are going to do really well," Hoy told Sky Sports News. "For a brand new team that has brought together guys who have never raced together before, it takes time to gel and race as a unit, so some of the results they have had have been fantastic.
"Bradley had a great Tour last year, he almost got on the podium and equalled the best finish by a British rider on the Tour. There is a lot of pressure on him but he is more than capable of handling it and in the next two or three years he can win the Tour de France.
"Whether he does it this year I don't know but he is capable. He has shown the talent he has and has made the transition on the road. To be challenging some of the legends of the sports on some of the biggest mountain passes in Europe is amazing. I have complete belief in him and he has the ability and it is down to a few good days in a row. I thoroughly believe he can do it."
