Dettori ponders Gold Cup choice

Frankie Dettori is still to decide whether to ride Darley Sun or Kite Wood in the Gold Cup at Ascot next week.
The Italian is in two minds about riding Kite Wood, who has not run the distance of two miles and four furlongs before, while Darley Sun has experience over the distance.
"Darley Sun is a guaranteed stayer while Kite Wood has the class but he might not stay," Dettori said. "I haven't decided which I'm going to ride and I won't decide until later on."
Meanwhile, Sir Michael Stoute has confirmed that Kingsgate Native will run in the King's Stand Stakes on Tuesday.
The sprinter won the Golden Jubilee Stakes in 2008, but after a disappointing showing last year, Stoute revealed the five-year-old would run over five furlongs.
"I've got some important work to do this week with the potential Ascot runners so I've not tidied it up just yet, but the plan is to go for the King's Stand with Kingsgate on Tuesday," Stoute told At The Races.
Prince Khalid Abdullah's Special Duty is unlikely to appear at Ascot next week, with the team opting instead to focus on the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket on July 7.
Kite Wood is 8/1, while Darley Sun has odds of 10/1 with Stan James. Click here to open an account and receive a £25 free bet
