Floyd Mayweather Jnr insists he will not be rushed into the ring after negotiations to fight Manny Pacquiao fell through.

According to Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum, Mayweather missed Friday's deadline to agree a deal.

Pacquiao's camp will now look into securing another opponent for the welterweight champion on November 13, with Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito his most likely challengers.

And as the highly-anticipated fight between two of the greatest pound-for-pound boxers looks unlikely to take place this year, Mayweather insists he is in no hurry to return to the ring.

"I'm not interested in rushing to do anything," Mayweather told the Associated Press.

"I'm not really thinking about boxing right now. I'm just relaxing. I fought about 60 days ago, so I'm just enjoying myself, enjoying life, enjoying my family and enjoying my vacation."
