NFL set for afternoon kick-off at Wembley
Two of the three NFL games to be hosted at Wembley next season will kick off in the afternoon, officials have announced.
The New York Jets' meeting with the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills' clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars will both get underway just after lunchtime when the NFL's International Series returns to London in October.
Fans in America will have to wake up early to catch their teams when the Dolphins host the Jets at Wembley on October 4, with a 2.30pm kick-off translating to 9.30am on the US East Coast.
The Jaguars then host the Bills at 1.30pm on October 25, which also gives a 9.30am kick-off on the East Coast due to the switch from daylight saving hours.
Last season, the NFL experimented with the afternoon kick-off in London when Atlanta hosted Detroit. It clearly was happy with the results, and opted for another this year.
No kick-off time has been announced for the November 1 game at Wembley between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs.
