Froch fight with Kessler put back

Carl Froch's WBC super-middleweight title defence against Mikkel Kessler has been put back to April 24. The clash in the Danish city of Herning was due to take place the previous week, but both camps have settled on a change of date.
The news has come as a blow to Froch who feels some of his fans may have already booked flights for the previous week.
"I am upset for my fans with the change of date but this has been unpreventable due to scheduling issues," Froch said." I just hope that my fans will understand this change and will still come in their thousands to support me in Herning."
Kessler has never been stopped in his career, a fact Froch is aware of. He said: "I am looking to be the first fighter to take Mikkel Kessler out before the final bell.
"I have gone to Jermain Taylor's backyard and defended my belt and I am more than happy to do the same with Kessler. As the champion I will prove that I can fight and beat the best anywhere."
