London Wasps duo Tom Lindsay and Charlie Davies have committed their future to the Adams Park side until the summer of 2014.

The new contracts will provide a boost to the beleaguered Aviva Premiership side who find themselves in eleventh place in the Premiership and travel to fourth placed Leicester Tigers on Saturday. But Wasps boast an impressive array of hot prospects with the likes of Joe Launchbury, Elliot Daly and Billy Vunipola in their ranks alongside Lindsay and Davies.

Hooker Lindsay has turned out for the England Saxons back in 2010 and is vying with Rob Webber for the front-row berth at Wasps. And Davies - who has had a spell with Stade Francais back in 2010 - has England international Joe Simpson and Nic Berry for competition.

Wasps boss Dai Young is relishing the chance to see the pair develop at Adams Park and has praised their attitude. "It's great to have secured the future of two of the Club's up and coming players," Young said. "I believe both Tom and Charlie have a very big part to play in this Club's future and I have been very encouraged by their hard work and attitude to developing as players."

And Lindsay admits that having Young at the club providing guidance was a big lure when it came to committing to Wasps. He said: "I have been at the Club since I was 16 and there is nowhere else I would rather play. I am really looking forward to being part of the team that is going to grow and develop here in the next few years and I am already enjoying working under Dai Young who is bringing a lot to the Club. His knowledge and experience of the front row is obviously a huge benefit to me."
