Saracens have announced that England centre Brad Barritt has signed a new deal with the Aviva Premiership club.
Barritt took his bow for the national side in last season's Six Nations and alongside the likes of Jonathan Joseph and Manu Tuilagi, he is part of an exciting group of centres who will have their sights set on the 2015 World Cup. He has now accrued seven caps for England including a start and a substitute appearance against his country of birth South Africa on their June tour.
The 26-year-old was delighted to have penned a new deal with the club. "Saracens is different to many professional sports clubs simply because the primary focus is on people rather than results," he said. "Every individual gets treated unbelievably well and, in return, every individual tries unbelievably hard.
"I am very happy here, I feel I am continuing to improve and develop on and off the field and it was a very easy decision to sign a long term extension."
Director of rugby Mark McCall added: "Brad is one of many players who have provided outstanding service to Saracens over the past three seasons. He is talented, skilful and courageous, and we are delighted he has committed his future to the cause."
