Tonga travel to Aberdeen on Saturday to face Scotland in what will be the third meeting between the two sides.

Scotland first met Tonga during the 1995 World Cup in Pretoria and it was Jim Telfer's men who prevailed 41-5. The Hastings brothers - Gavin and Scott - scored a try apiece while No.8 Eric Peters also scored. But it was the boot of Gavin Hastings that propelled Scotland to their triumph with the fullback knocking over a conversion and eight penalties.

And they renewed their rivalry in 2001 at Murrayfield and again it was Scotland who emerged the victors thanks to their 43-20 triumph. James McLaren, Glenn Metcalfe, Roland Reid and Gordon Simpson all scored with Gordon Ross nudging over five penalties and converting all four scores.
