Debbie Jevans is the new CEO of England Rugby 2015 and will take up her position in October. She replaces the now departed Paul Vaughan and is charged with spearheading the plans ahead of the 2015 World Cup.
Jevans is currently director of sport for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. She was responsible for delivering the 26 Olympic and 20 Paralympic sports events as well as the Games wide medical and anti-doping programmes for the Games.
Jevans served as director of sport during the London 2012 bid, where she was responsible for compiling the venue strategy and gaining sign off from all the international federations.
Prior to joining London 2012, Debbie was the general secretary of the International Tennis Federation and had her own sports consultancy company. She has worked on successfully returning both tennis and rugby to the Olympic programme and has sat on numerous national and international sports boards.
