Umaga waiting for Super 15 call

Former All Black captain Tana Umaga is yet to secure a contract with a Super 15 franchise for the forthcoming season.

Umaga, who won 79 caps for New Zealand, is looking for a deal with a Super 15 side after returning to action with Counties-Manukau in a player-coach capacity in the ITM Cup this year. The 37-year-old has made himself available for the Super 15 season but has is still waiting for an offer from one of the franchises.

He is contracted to Counties-Manukau for the 2011 season with an option to re-sign for 2012.
