London Wasps boss Dai Young believes the takeover of the club will be resolved in the "next couple of days".

Contracts were exchanged for Wasps back in June with the consortium led by Ken Moss seeking to complete the takeover of the club. Just last week, Young said that it was still a little way away from completion, but at the launch of the new Aviva Premiership season on Monday, Young hopes that Moss will imminently be installed as Wasps' new owner, replacing Steve Hayes in the process.

"I'm sure the ownership thing will be resolved in the next couple of days hopefully," Young told ESPN. "I had an excellent relationship with Steve and I seem to be getting on well with Ken but not in a professional way as that relationship has not yet started."

Wasps endured a torrid last term but Young has built a solid squad ahead of the new campaign. He has brought in proven quality in the guise of England internationals James Haskell and Tom Palmer alongside Springboks No.8 Ashley Johnson and British & Irish Lions Test fly-half Stephen Jones.

However, despite him bringing in a myriad of talent, with players from England, South Africa, Wales and Italy all arriving at Adams Park, Young is reluctant to continue in this vein in the future - but such a vision is dependent on on and off field stability.

"I don't want to flood Wasps with Welsh players and foreign players," Young said. "I want to build a solid basis of England players at Wasps but no England players would look at us last year due to the problems on and off the field."

The recruitment of Jones sees him link up with fellow Welsh No.10 Nicky Robinson and Young is relishing the task of juggling both half-backs throughout the new campaign.

"My philosophy has always been that I want two quality players in every position and ten is big in that equation," Young said. "If you look at any team that has been successful they've always had two quality tens. They're slightly different players and they've got different strengths but I felt that Nick last season carried a huge burden and more or less played the whole campaign as our only number ten.

"There's enough rugby for both of them to play and I'm quite excited about having the headache of keeping both of them happy. Both of them will want to play every week and that's not going to happy but I'm very happy with having two quality tens to pick from."
