All Black coach Steve Hansen said he will continue to play wing Julian Savea despite him facing charges of domestic violence. Savea is accused of assaulting his girlfriend, who is the mother of his child, and if found guilty could face a term of imprisonment.

"It's a lot for a young person, even an older person, to be able to handle," Hansen said. "It's an unfortunate incident. It's not one that he's proud of or any of us are.

"All we can do is support him and help him deal with that process. There's a child involved as well which makes it even more complicated. But he's working his way through that, as are all parties, and I'm sure we will see the real Julian going forward which is all we want."
