Leinster duo Sean O'Brien and Jamie Heaslip look to be on the verge of agreeing a move to the Top 14.

Reports on Monday evening suggested the Ireland duo were to be unveiled today by different French clubs, but the Irish Independent claims confirmation is still a way off.

Heaslip and Conor Murray have both been heavily linked with a switch to Toulouse with Clermont Auvergne circling O'Brien.

For former Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan, he claims that if Heaslip and O'Brien do opt to continue their respective futures in France, it will be a "tipping point for Leinster".

"O'Brien is one of those players that can play at such a high tempo and is always in collisions," O'Sullivan told Off The Ball's Monday Night Rugby. "For him to come through the Top 14 without injury would be a miracle.

"It's hard to believe that he can have a long career playing in the Top 14. Leinster have responded brilliantly to the loss of Isa Nacewa and Jonny Sexton, but losing Heaslip and O'Brien...you can only sustain a haemorrhage to a certain degree. That could be a tipping point for Leinster."
