New Zealand are set to face the US Eagles on November 1 (local time) in Chicago.

Reports in New Zealand's Herald on Sunday claimed an "agreement is understood to have been reached" which will see the All Blacks run out in Chicago's Soldier Field, a stadium with a capacity of 61,500.

The news of the fixture comes in the wake of New Zealand's trip to Japan last November, a game which generated an estimated NZ$850,000 (£440,000) windfall for the All Blacks.

New Zealand hope a trip to America will generate similar financial rewards with the report also stating: "The expectation is that a minimum 40,000 tickets will be sold, which should enable USA Rugby to make a sizeable profit after they have paid the New Zealand Rugby Union a guaranteed sum, believed to be NZ$1m to cover their costs."
