Tasman prop Perry ruled out of NPC final
October 23, 2014

Tasman will be without prop Tim Perry for the NPC Premiership final against Taranaki in New Plymouth. An Achilles tendon injury forced Perry off early in Tasman's 26-6 semi-final win over Canterbury last weekend.

The Crusaders loose-head prop's starting spot goes to the man who replaced him off the bench, Siua Hulanukunuka, with Reuben Northover coming onto the replacements bench.

Coach Kieran Keane didn't make any other changes for the game on Saturday in which both teams are chasing their maiden title. Tasman earned promotion from the Championship division last season.

Tasman: Robbie Malneek, Bryce Heem, Kieron Fonotia, Tom Marshall, James Lowe, Marty Banks, Jimmy Cowan, Liam Squire, Shane Christie, Pete Samu, Joe Wheeler, Alex Ainley, Ross Geldenhuys, Quentin MacDonald, Siua Hulanukunuka. Replacements: Jesse MacDonald, Reuben Northover, Tevita Cavubati, Vernon Fredricks, Billy Guyton, David Havili, Mitchell Scott.
