Hurricanes wing Nehe Milner-Skudder faces a long four to six week stint on the sidelines after he dislocated his shoulder during the side's first win of the season on Friday night.

The All Blacks star was forced from the field in the 50th minute after he attempted to break through the Blues defence but was crunched by No.8 Akira Ioane and fell onto his shoulder.

Milner-Skudder has suffered a disrupted start to the 2016 season after he missed last week's match against the Highlanders with a knee injury.

The Hurricanes are also set to sweat on winger Julian Savea who left the field limping badly late in the match, while loose forward Brad Shields only lasted 20 minutes before he was taken from the field.
